I’m not a vegetarian now but I was for a little while. I went to Africa a few years ago and the meat there was really bad quality and they don’t look after their animals as well as in England so I stopped eating meat.

NO! I tried it once but began to feel tired and ill. That was when I was competing regularly. I wasn’t getting the food balance right. I eat a lot of fish, white meat and occasional red meat. But it’s all fresh and not processed. My favourite food is Sashimi (raw fish)….salmon never tastes the same again once you’ve had it raw. I don’t eat junk food. I haven’t set foot in a McDonalds for about 7 years! I occasionally eat vegetarian food for a change. One of the best vegetarian restaurants in the world is in Chester, but most vegetarian food I find boring and bland.

No I’m not. I love foods like spaghetti bolognaise and chilli…and I wouldn’t be able to have these if I didn’t eat meat.

No I’m not. I don’t eat very much meat though, just enough to keep my diet balanced.
