Yes I am! I am interested in star signs etc. and how the earth began, how stars explode, how black holes are formed etc. I would love to learn more about it but it is all very complicated and mathmatical (and maths is not my strongest point!).

Casually. I do love a good planetarium and one of the many things I love about South Africa is that it has a different (and very clear) night sky. There you can see the Southern Cross which isn’t visible from most of our hemisphere.

I love star gazing on a clear night and to marvel at the size of the universe. I don’t know much about astronomy though.

I did a first year option in Astronomy at university. It was incredibly hard work but very interesting. I had the idea we would be looking at galaxies using huge radio telescopes in our practicals. In reality I was stood in the back gardaen counting stars through a toilet roll holder!
