That’s weird…. I was talking to my house mate about this exact question this morning. Apparently this is true, and he is very clever so i normally trust what he says. If this was to happen I think we would all be very squashed.

No, not unless we were all amazing gymnasts and could balance on each others shoulders without falling down into the sea.

Probably not, unless you stacked them! But why would you want to anyway?

Google tells me that the Isle of Wight is about the same size as the Gaza strip, 146 square miles (378km 2), so 378,000,000 m2. The population of the world was around 6.8 billion (6,800,000,000) in 2009 SO that’s about 18 people every square metre.

      Can we stack them vertically?

Can you have a go and let me know how many people you can get in a square metre? No leaning out, there are people in the next metre.

I am not sure what the population of the world is…but I am pretty sure that you wouldn’t be able to fit them all onto the Isle of Wight…It would be pretty crowded!! Maybe you should have a go at doing it…let me know how you get on :).
