• Question: do you know what joint hypermobility is?

      I think it is when your joints can bend more than they should in a direction they shouldn’t. Like if your elbow can bend back on itself when it is already straight. this happends because tendons and ligaments which join bone to bone and muscle to bone are to loose to hold the joint in place properly i think. I have this problem with my knees…when i am standing straight they bend backwards on themselves and lock sometimes..then it is really apinful when i try and move again!

      I think it is when your joint stretching further than what is normal. Some people can bend certain parts of there body more, such as their thumb, than others. This can be due to weak or stretched ligaments or the tone of muscle.
