I do think about my carbon footprint but i don’t take it too seriously. I make sure that i walk places that are close by instead of driving.

I take it very seriously. We’re thinking of installing eco-features in the house such as solar panels and wind turbines. However, I do travel a lot and also go by car as public transport in the UK is terrible: expensive, dirty and unreliable. I stopped catching the bus to work when I was 30 minutes late for a 9 am lecture.

I try and do my best to reduce my carbon footprint…I do things like cycle into work sometimes and if the place I am going I can get to easily by bus or train then I try and do that! But if its raining I would opt for the car and not the bike :s.

I am working at being as eco-friendly as possible. I grow alot of vegetables in the garden and use local produce as much as possible. I also think very carefully about flying places as this has a huge impact on the environment. I’m also looking to buy a bike at the moment so that I can start cycling to work rather than driving. I’d love to have an eco-friendly house too when I buy one, with solar pannels and maybe a wind-turbine.

I heard a fact the other day that to fly an aeroplane full of people to New Zealand would take the same amount of fuel as for all of those people to drive around the world in their separate cars 666 times!!
