Difficult. For my research in general I’d go to work on a weekend, and I’ll travel to four continents this year in the name of science, but I try not to get too attached to specifics or to have have pet theories – you have to be prepared for to be wong, and to let some things go.

Very! I am doing this research for the next 4 years at least and after that I hope to become a lecturer and researcher…or even go and work in public health working on a larger scale to influence the health of people nationwide!

Very. I want it to work both for me and my students. But if it doesn’t we just find some new area to work on.

I am very committed to my research. I’m often talk to my friends and anyone who I meet about it. Today I was in a meeting with some very famous researchers in the area of obesity some who have been scientists for about 40 years. I was very nervous speaking about my ideas because I am still very early on in my career. It was great to get their opinions on my ideas!
