Obesity is a result of someone having what we call an energy imbalance (they take in more energy than they burn off …eating/drinking vs physical activity. So if a person wants to lose weight and they are not being physically active they can also do this by changing their diet and eating foods low in calories and saturated fats and high in fibre. However…of the 2 (diet and exercise)…exercise has been shown to be more effective in reducing obesity. The best way tor reduce obesity though is through a combination of good diet and exercise!
