I have been interested in this topic probably since I was about 16. I have played hockey since I was 12…and as I got older I was became more interested in how your body responds to exercise and the health benefits of it. I think it is really interesting that you can work out how many calories you burn during a game of hockey or football and learn how this can affect your overall health. Since starting to research this topic in September though I have definitely found it more and more interesting each day…there is so much to learn!

I’ve kind of spiraled in on it, although now it feels that I’ve been interested in it all along. My research currently focuses on how changes in muscles, bones and tendons affect movement and how exercise affects muscles, bones and tendons. Even my film industry work has focussed on this, so all in all about ten years.

I’ve been interested in the way that exercise can improve health since starting my undergraduate degree at university so for 10 years.

It started about 20 years ago but really seriously in the last 5 years. We are hopefully off to work with Atomic Skis in Austria next winter.

I have always been interested in helping people and making people healthy and fit. I have never heard that green tea could make you more healthy until i started being a scientist a year ago. I become more and more interested in my topic each day the more I read and the more research i do.
