  I don’t think birds will ever be able to swing from trees they have very short arms.

Monkeys have evolved to be able to do certain things which has helped them as a species survive…the same for birds…hanging from trees has obviously helped monkeys stay alive..and being able to fly has helped birds! but if you switched these round I don’t know if they would be quite as successfull for survival!
