• Question: is cloning possible in humans and has it been done before

      Cloning has been done in other mammals so yes it probably can be done in humans however i think their may be a law to stop people doing it

      It has been done with human cells, but not to grow a complete human. Dolly the sheep was a clone so if you can clone one mammal you can clone another. The problem is that Dolly died early of ill health, most likely because she was a clone.

      I think cloning is possible but whether it has been done before I do not know…. I think it would be quite unethical to do so it isn’t allowed!

      Scientists at Newcastle University have cloned embryos, to treat disease. Cloning to produce a baby is illegal in the U.K., and eventually all cloning may be banned.
