• Question: is it possible to skip puberty?

      I don’t think so although some people go through it earlier or later than others.

      No it is something we all have to go through!

      Sorry, I think that we’re stuck with it. There are reasons why people sometimes don’t go through puberty, but you don’t get to skip it and still get to be (biologically) mature.

      I’m not sure. I don’t think it would be a good thing to miss – there are many imporatant hormonal changes which happen during puberty which not only effect sex organs but other organs. the hormone Oestrogen that females produce helps to keep our hearts healthy and means that we have less risk of heart disease whilst we are younger compared to men.
