• Question: is it possible to take one digestive from one speicies and put it in another.

      I have no idea! But as the digestive system is very complex I would guess probably not!

      It may be possible..but I am not really sure why you would want to do it! The digestive system is pretty big and made up of lots of different parts so it would probably be very difficult if it is possible….Also the body of the species who is receiving the new digestive system is likely to reject it (because it would recognise it did not belong to them) which would make them very ill and probably die.

      That would be really hard, there would be blood and nerve supplies to sort out, and the teeth may need to be changed to match the new diet. Never say never, but it’s a looong way off.

      It probably is, but the other species may reject the organs. Valves from pigs hearts can be transplanted into humans to help their hearts function better.
