I did not enter the I’m a Scientist competition to win the money.. I entered because all of the research I am doing involves young people your age and I wanted to see what you thought about my research and hopefully thought your input might make it better…. and let me know how I can get more people involved. So far I have really enjoyed it and you have all been great! I would feel very proud that I won because it would mean that the people who my research aims (you guys) thinks what I am doing is interesting and worth while :). Obviously winning would be a nice bonus…but I would use it to gove more people a chance to take part in my research and benefit from it even further.

I’d feel very happy to be voted for and proud of my work. It’s been great so far to share my work with the students on I’m a scientists, and to see that you have been interested in it.

      Hi Bubbles22.

The prize money isn’t really important – our time spent doing this has cost the Unviersities a lot more than that already! I think that we’re just enjoying being able to talk to school students about science (and other things!)

The main thing is that we get to talk with you guys and answer some of your questions. Hopefully you’ll all want to be scientists or engineers!

I would feel very proud that people thought that what i am doing is worth while and that they want to help me with my research. I would also be happy with the money but also feel A LOT of pride.
