• Question: the linin in a sheeps wool makes my hands feel soft, why?

      I’m not sure why your hands feel so soft when you feel sheep wool but i know what you mean as i love the feeling of it too

      Lanolin is an oil, it waterproofs the sheep’s wool, and effectively acts as a moisturiser on your hands.

      Sheeps wool is very soft…I am not sure why this is! probably because of the proteins it is made up of and how they are structured and attached to each other. Have you ever stoked a sheep? I went to a a farm the other day and put my hand right into the wool and it went as far up as my wrist! it was really soft!
