• Question: what are your hobbies apart from work-based things? do you do any horse-riding, painting etc?

      I have three horses and ride every day, compete most weekends. My husband is an artist so he does enough drawing for the both of us – between exhibitions our house is stuffed with pictures!

      I have loads of other hobbies…although as I get older I don’t have time to fit them all in. At the minute my hobbies outside of work are playing hockey, netball, shopping and going on holidays! (can you count the last 2 as hobbies?). At the end of July I am going to Thailand for a month to travel around and see the beaches etc. and I hope to do things like scuba diving and white water rafting!

      When I was younger I also danced about 4 times a week (tap, ballet, jazz, modern, street dance and acro), played the saxophone, went camping alot and did things like rock climbing and kayaking, and was in Derby Cathedral youth and girls choir (I was even in BBC one once singing!).

      The sports that I enjoy doing are yoga, netball (we won our game tonight!), 5-a-side football, tennis, running and swimming. I also make stained glass windows and do mosaics, I’d like to do a pottery course this summer. I’ve just joined an acting group too, last night we did some great improvisations, I had to be a character who worked in an abattoir, loved horror films and had a strange habit of eating raw meat! I don’t do horse-riding because I’m allergic to them 🙁

      My hobbies are playing netball and running. I’ve recently started watching horror films so i guess that is a hobby.

      I ski a lot, mainly Moguls, and Coach the England Moguls Ski Team. I also produce films, do sports photography and paint. I’ve been horse riding once but the horse hated me!
