• Question: What are your views/opinions on using nuclear power for military purposes?

      So long as no one is prepared to use it it is good. It works as a deterant. The problem is that it just takes one unstable government to use a nuclear weapon and the deterant is destroyed and we have serious problems. Nuclear power is a different issue and it is likely that we will have to use it in the near future to satisfy our energy needs.

      I think that as soon as this is done once by one country it would cause another world war..but on a massive scale and a lot of the world would end up dead. So I don’t think it should be done. Most countries now have the means to prodice nuclear bombs etc…so if everyone makes them and then one country decides to use it…another will retaliate with the same method… and we will end up just blowing each other up which would not be great!

      I don’t know much about nuclear power but it scares me how destructive it can be so i don’t think it should be used for military purposes.
