I would never have plastic surgery unless I needed it for some reason (like if I was in a bad accident)..but I can understand people who do have it if they are unhappy with the way that they look. However…I do think people should embrace their differences instead of trying to change them :).

It depends what the plastic surgery is for. If someone has had a terrible accident, may be has had severe burns then plastic surgery is a great way to treat that person. If someone is just not happy with the way that they look then I think there are other psychological issues that need dealing with and the plastic surgery should not be the first treatment considered. ulimately, each person must make their own choice. I wouldn’t have plastic surgery even though i think my chin sticks out too much!

Some people need plastic surgery – skin grafts are classed as plastic surgery and they are needed when people have bad burns. I think plastic surgery to look better is not needed and people should grow old gracefully

Plastic surgery isn’t just to avoid growing old or for vanity reasons. In fact it isn’t always for your appearance at all.

I was referred for plastic surgery after my stroke. Although in the end, I returned to normal very quickly and didn’t need the help (as I’m only 33 and therefore still bouncy!). The idea was to help me shut my eyelid and blink normally so that my eye didn’t dry out and lose its vision, not to change the way I looked.

If it’s for a medical reason (accident or birth defect) then I think that is valid. If it’s cosmetic then I don’t really agree with it. The exception might be when there is a psychological reason but where it has medial backing. You just need to look at people like Katie Price to realise how stupid it can be!
