      Hollywood films you have a larger budget, and you are trying to create a certain effect – either to make the stunt look realistic or to make the stunt man look the actor or even monster that he is supposed to be.

      For research you are aiming to be as accurate as possible, and if it involves wildlife to disturb them as little as possible.
