My research is different because whilst there is a lot of research looking at ways to treat people with obesity and reduce the level of overweight and obese people today…my research looks at preventing them from getting obese in the first place. It is working with young fit and healthy people to look at what they do to stay fit…and looking at how we can get more people to be this wat..and therefore stop people becoming obese when they are young. If you are obese when you are young there is an 80% chance you will be obese when you are an adult and suffer all the health problems associated with it (diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease etc.). ..so it is imporant to stop this happening 🙂

This is a really good question and doing research is all about expanding on what has already been done. Research in my area has already found that green tea can increase fat burning during exercise but we don’t know how or how we can increase it further- this is my job to find out. Every piece of research is different and they all find out different things this is what makes it so interesting
