      Oooo I would put it in the bank….. and then I would stop being sensible and I would buy a house…a nice car..go shopping in New York and go travelling around the world! Obviously I would save some of it though.. maybe…;)

      If we are talking science then I would probably spend it on cancer research to help scientists learn how we can cure it :).

      Great question. I think first of all i would go on a nice holiday as i haven’t been away for a very long time. I would also give some money to my family as they have supported me loads of the years. I am also very attached to two charities called “over the wall” and “READ International” so i would give money to them. I think one more thing i would do is treat myself to a new car as my is a little run down and sometimes cuts out when i’m driving along!!!

      Sadly it wouldn’t go very far. Maybe employ a PhD student for three years, or a post-doc for one.
