      I really like taking and analysing blood and seeing what is in it like glucose and fat!

      I actually think my favourite science experiment is the screaming jellybabies experiment you do in chemistry in school in about year 8!

      My favourite experiment in my own research though is using the DEXA scanner (which x rays your whole body and tells you how much fat, muscle and bone you have and where it is in your body) and looking at whether the amount of fat you have is related to the amount of physical activity you do.

      It’s an optical illusion where you watch some moving black & white lines for a few minutes then look at something else in the room.. the whole room looks as though it’s distorted and moving becasue your brain gets confused!
